Eligibility & Acceptance

Contestants must live, work or study in the United Kingdom, or hold a British passportContestants must not be married (or have been married) and should never have given birth to a child. Contestants must have no criminal records.

Age requirements
Contestant must have attained the age of 18 years and not older than the age of 28 years on or before 1st November in the year of the contest.

Official Language

English is the official language of the Miss International competition. It is a requirement for delegates to speak English.

Gender

Entrants’ legal gender must be female.

Code of Conduct

Delegate shall be a person whose background is not likely to bring in to disrepute the Miss International UK title or the Licensee or the Promoter or any person associated with them. Entrant affirms that she is and will continue to be a person of good moral character; that she has not committed and will not commit any act inconsistent with the highest standards of public morals and conventions or that will reflect unfavourably on
the pageant, its representatives, sponsors and/or licensees; that she has not appeared in, or posed for, any nude or provocative photographs prior to, during the preliminary or pageant finals, or during her reign.

Delegate will conduct herself in a courteous, professional manner at all times during the Miss International UK contest and while representing their title.

Delegate will not slander or libel other contestants, judges, Pageant Girl Ltd staff or anyone else involved with or connected to the Miss International UK contest. Defamatory verbal and/or written remarks against Pageant Girl Ltd or the Miss International UK contest will result in immediate disqualification, forfeiture of any and all prizes and awards won, and legal charges.

Any delegate found publicly posting slanderous remarks on public forums, social networking site or any other public domain will be immediately disqualified.

Good sportsmanship is expected at all times. Disruptive behaviour before, during, or after the pageant may result in disqualification, removal from the premises, and legal charges.

Pageant Girl Ltd – Limitation of Liability / Responsibility

Pageant Girl Ltd agree to provide the winners of Miss International UK:

a) Paid entry into the Miss International pageant.

b) Payment for return flights from the UK to the host country. Pageant Girl Ltd is not responsible for arranging international travel or intervening / loss of goods / resolving disputes surrounding international travel to the Internationals final.

c) Pageant Girl Ltd is not responsible for the period when the delegate is at the international finals. Pageant Girl Ltd has no involvement with the organisation of these events and during this time, the delegate must look to the Miss International Organisation.

d) If the international pageant is cancelled, prizes are not transferable. Flight, accommodation and pageant entry fee are solely for the international finals. Entrant agrees that Pageant Girl Ltd is not liable for costs incurred due to the cancellation of these.

Entrants agrees:

a) To attend the international final, if selected as the winner in the preliminary final pageant and further abide by all the required services, rules and regulations governing this pageant. Entrant agrees that in the event of the winner not being able to compete in Miss International, if any payments have been paid by Pageant Girl Ltd for the winner’s prize for the Miss International UK contest, they will be liable to reimburse Pageant Girl Ltd in full.

b) If selected as the winner of the Miss International UK contest, they will not enter or compete in any other regional, national or international pageant without prior permission from Pageant Girl Ltd. The winner may not compete in any other pageant or beauty contest until after the international final.

c) If selected as the winner of the Miss International UK contest, a contract will be signed pertaining to the code of conduct, appearances and work, including modelling, television and film, that the winners undertake during their reign on behalf of Pageant Girl Ltd.

d) That a commission of 20% (plus VAT on that commission, if applicable) will be deducted by the directors of Pageant Girl Ltd from the gross fee for any paid assignment as a Miss International UK delegate, which has been organised and booked with Pageant Girl Ltd.

e) To look solely to Pageant Girl Ltd with respect to all matters relating to her application, rules, regulations, policies, preparation, rehearsal, performance and selection process, and all other matters relating to the preliminary pageant.

f) That Pageant Girl Ltd, Inc., its officers, employees, and pageant personnel are not responsible for accidents, injury or theft incurred at the time of the Miss International UK finals or travel to and from.

g) That Pageant Girl Ltd is not responsible for negligence or fraud on the part of pageant sponsors, judges, or contract vendors (e.g., photographer, videographer, etc.) who may be providing products or services to delegates and winners at the UK or international finals.

h) That Pageant Girl Ltd is not responsible for negligence or fraud on the part of the host hotel.

i) That Pageant Girl Ltd is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage caused to any and all prizes, gifts, and awards bestowed upon entrant after these items become the property of entrant. Entrant agrees to incur replacement and/or repair costs to lost, stolen, or damaged items including but not limited to: crown/tiara, sash, plaques, trophies, etc.

j) That the date/venue of the Miss International UK contest is subject to change and in such a case, the entrant is not eligible for a refund.

k) That prizes given by sponsors to prize winners are not the responsibility of Pageant Girl Ltd. Pageant Girl Ltd cannot be held liable for any sponsor not fulfilling their prizes to winners.

l) That Pageant Girl ltd are not responsible for organisation of the venue and location of the Miss International final. These are subject to change and are organised by the International Organisation.

m) That if delegate wins the Miss International UK contest and then continues to win the Miss International final, a new contract with Pageant Girl Ltd will be signed.

Deadlines
All deadlines for photographs, and contestant information are strictly enforced and must be adhered to by entrant and by the winner of the Miss International UK contest.

Refund Policy
All fees paid Pageant Girl Ltd are NOT REFUNDABLE and NOT TRANSFERABLE in full or in part for under any circumstances. This includes, but is not limited to entry fees, advertising fees, pageant admission ticket sales fees, guest meal fees and any other fees paid to Pageant Girl Ltd by anyone including, but not limited to, delegates, sponsors, and advertisers.

Payments
All payments made to Pageant Girl Ltd are subject to a £1 handling fee.

Photography & Videography
Delegates authorise the right for Photography & Videography for the Miss International UK final. This includes internet, websites, printed publications, all events leading to, and including, the Miss International final.

Disqualification / Title Relinquishment
If delegate is disqualified or relinquishes, for any reason, any title awarded to her, all prizes must be returned in full, and in condition received.

Travel
Delegates make their own travel arrangements. Pageant Girl Ltd is not responsible for arranging travel or intervening / resolving disputes involving travel to the pageant competition.

Publicity and Promotion
By virtue of participation in the Miss International UK contest, delegate agrees to allow Pageant Girl Ltd the right to use her name, likeness, voice and/or biographical information for purposes of publicity and promotion now and in the future. Delegate understands that her name, likeness, voice, and/or biographical information may be used on the Internet, in print advertising, press releases and merchandise related to the Miss International contest (e.g., t-shirts, tote bags, hats, other apparel, mouse pads, and other promotional materials.) Delegate agrees that photographs submitted to the Miss International UK contest may be used for publicity and promotion by Pageant Girl Ltd, the delegate must own the copyright to these images or have obtained permission prior to submission. Delegate agrees to release Pageant Girl Ltd from liability for any injury resulting from publicity and promotion. Delegate agrees to waive any and all compensation for use of her name, likeness, voice, and /or biographical information for purposes of publicity and promotion.

Agreement
The Miss International UK entrant agrees to abide by the above rules. If an entrant fails to abide by the above rules and/or brings Pageant Girl Ltd into disrepute, for which a decision will be made at the Director’s digression, Pageant Girl Ltd has the right to terminate the entrants contract immediately, reclaim the entrants sash and authorise the deletion of all photos containing the Miss International sash and crown.

By submitting the entry form and fee(s) to Pageant Girl Ltd, delegate agrees to abide by all policies, rules and regulations set forth by Pageant Girl Ltd.

I agree to the above terms and conditions and agree to abide by all policies, rules and regulations set forth by Pageant Girl Ltd. I confirm that all information submitted to Pageant Girl Ltd is true and accurate. Falsification of information and failure to comply with the policies of Pageant Girl Ltd may result in immediate disqualification and/or forfeiture of prizes won without benefit of refund in full or in part at the sole discretion of Pageant Girl Ltd.
