In November, our reigning Miss International UK, Sophie, landed in Tokyo ahead of the Miss International finals, ready to represent the UK in one of the biggest pageants in the world!
After winning the Miss International UK pageant back in May 2025, Sophie now has the oppurtunity to head to the international competition, to see the best bits of Tokyo, embrace Japanese culture and share the stage with girls from all over the world! To kick off the most amazing couple of weeks, Sophie got settled into the host hotel and met her roomie for the trip – the gorgeous Miss International USA, Nicky.
Sophie attended the official Orientaion Day and Sashing Ceremony – a moment where all finalists from across the globe come together and start this incredible journey together. She also attended the reception dinner where she shared meaningful converstaions and traditions with her new sisters.
Our Queen was fortunate enough to join several unforgettable trips with her fellow finalists, including a visit to Yamanashi to explore its rich history. The tour also included a stop at the renowned Fujisan Sengen Shrine, where the girls were treated to breathtaking views of Mount Fuji. Sophie described the experience as “magical,” saying, “Learning about its cultural significance was incredibly grounding, and I’m so grateful for the warmth with which Japan continues to share its traditions with us.”
Their final destination was Fujiyama, the iconic amusement and theme park – and judging by the photos, the girls truly had the time of their lives.
We are so excited to see what else Sophie gets up to on her trip. The itinerary looks packed full of activities and we cannot wait to follow her on this journey!
